It’s done!
After more than a week of solid work on this skirt, I finally put it all together (with pockets) and finished it today. It needs a little pressing but it’s ready to be shot by my trusty photographer, Graeme.
Here are some more pics…
I can’t wait to see this piece on the runway!

The stickers are in!
I know… they’re vinyl, not very eco, and I’m putting them up in public spaces (shhh) but I only printed a few – 250 – and I think they’re great marketing for the show! And I love this new technology, even though my 5-year-old phone doesn’t take pictures and can’t read it, I’m hoping others will be less outdated than me!
The code can be read by most phones and redirects your phone’s browser directly to my blog, where I’ll post the invite to the show when it’s time. Download the reader here and scan away if you see one of these around New York City!
If any of you want me to send you some, just email me with your address and I’ll send them out.

Two weeks to go!
I’ve started transcribing some of the messages from my generous supporters onto organic cotton twill tape to potentially turn it into a skirt. It’s a little crafty at this point so I guess we’ll see how it turns out.
After many late nights and long hours spent hunched over my coffee table, I have finally finished weaving two of the styles for the show and I’m more excited about them than I expected to be (which was very excited to begin with). I apologize for the terrible picture quality, most of these were shot at 3:30 in the morning with exhaustion clouding my vision… but it was worth it!
Also, a big thank you to Laura Connell for helping make this show possible. I look forward to seeing you at fashion week!
