Holiday sales!!!
Study will be taking part in three more events this week.  I will be at 5 in 1, which is a great Brooklyn designer co-op that I’m happy to be a part of, tomorrow from 5-10 for our one night sale and wine event.  Everyone is marking down their pieces for this event, and we are also having a guest shoe designer Cri de Coeur.  Love her vegan shoes!!

On Saturday I will be stopping by the Eko-Lab where I will have some one-of-a-kind high end pieces available for you to pick up.  I’m excited about their crochet lessons!  Then I’m heading off to the International Playground Holiday party.  This will be a fun dress up event with special sales, drinks, raffles and a silent auction with the proceeds going to a very worthy cause.  The store looks amazing!  Hope you can make it out!

Second Annual Holiday Creation Sale at Ekovaruhuset on December 19th & 20th.

This year we have the wonderfully sustainable jewelry of Renata Mann & Dirty Librarian Chains as well as the unique mixed media creations of Abigail Doan. We will deck the walls with super lux clothing by STUDY NY and our own whimsical Eko-Lab wearables. With so many amazing minds together under one creative space this will be a weekend of sensory inspiration for the soul as well as an effortless one-stop shopping experience for the eko-conscious.

As with most every Eko-Lab event our Hand Craft Master XZ with be teaching hands on lessons on how crochet to all who are curious to learn. Crocheting is a wondrous craft that can help filter any of your holiday woes and stresses into the act of creating an object of your choosing that can be gifted to your loved ones Also makes for a very compactable subway riding activity!

A gift for The Uniform Project

I’ve mentioned the lovely ladies from The Uniform Project before.  They are such a source of inspiration for me.  So I decided this morning that 100% of all sales from my etsy shop for the rest of the month of December will go directly to help the children of Akanksha.  As a bonus ebay is matching all funds raised by the Project during the month of December.  So not only do you get a great gift (from me) but your money is doubled for a very worthwhile cause.

A message from the Uniform Project

Hello friends and family,

Happy Holidays! I’m getting super excited about Christmas, the New Year, and… the mysterious what comes next. I wanted to thank you all for all of your support and encouragement this year while I tackle my enormous, exciting, new challenges. This Holiday Season is packed with excitement and anticipation on all fronts! With a baby on the way for the new year and  grand opportunities popping up for The Uniform Project, I’m not quite sure where to focus my excitement. Baby, U.P., Baby, 2012…hehe, it’s all so exciting. ; )

But, before we hit the New Year, I wanted to let you know about The U.P.’s holiday collaboration with the eBay Green Team who is matching all of our incoming donations during the holidays, doubling all monies raised for the Akanksha kids during December.* In the next few days through the end of December, we’ll be debuting holiday e-cards for every donation of $15 or more, so that people can make their donations a part of their holiday gift giving.

What do I want for Christmas? More kids in school!

Our goal is to get 175 kids in school by the end of 2009 (that’s another $30,000 and change) and we’d love your help in spreading the word. We hope you could give us a mention through your blogs, publications and social networks (like Facebook) and help us reach as many people as possible this holiday season.
